We have completed the construction of the power grid connection for the PV Łosienice photovoltaic farm (Kościerzyna Commune). With this milestone, one of the key stages of the investment carried out for Energa Group has been successfully concluded, and the project is now entering its final phase.
The connection of the farm to the Kościerzyna Main Transformer Substation (GPZ) makes it possible to commence the remaining technical and formal activities, including trial start-up and final tests, which will confirm the correct operation of both the PV installation and the power evacuation infrastructure to the distribution system. This stage will be crowned by obtaining the required permits and a license for electricity generation. The planned commissioning of the installation is set to take place before the end of this year.
Comprehensive delivery by Electrum
The PV Łosienice photovoltaic farm with a capacity of 39.9 MW is one of the largest PV projects in northern Poland. As part of the investment:
- approximately 64,500 photovoltaic panels were installed,
- 95 inverters were installed,
- a Main Receiving Point (GPO) was constructed,
- approximately 5.5 km of 110 kV cable line connecting the GPO to the Kościerzyna GPZ was built.
As general contractor, Electrum was responsible for the comprehensive delivery of the project – from civil and assembly works, through power infrastructure, to preparing the installation for connection and commissioning.
A real contribution to the energy transition
Construction of the PV Łosienice farm began at the end of 2024, and all key installation works were completed in 2025. The estimated annual energy output from this installation will be sufficient to cover the electricity needs of more than 20,000 households, significantly supporting the development of renewable energy sources in Poland.
PV Łosienice is one of several renewable energy investments currently being developed by Energa Group as part of a broad project portfolio with a combined capacity reaching hundreds of megawatts. For Electrum, this is yet another example of the successful delivery of large-scale energy projects, combining advanced engineering, high execution standards, and a tangible impact on the low-emission transformation of the energy sector.
