Our First Project in Denmark Is On – Ingerslev Å Solar Park Now Sending Green Power into the Danish Grid

We’re proud to announce that Ingerslev Å Solar Park – our very first project in Denmark – has officially begun producing clean electricity. Located in Jutland, the 65.4 MWp installation is expected to generate up to 68 GWh of renewable energy annually for the Danish grid.

This project marks a significant milestone for us. Delivered as an EPC contract for BeGreen (part of the Equinor Group), it not only strengthens our diverse portfolio but also signals a new chapter in Electrum Group’s international expansion.

Ingerslev Å by the numbers:

  • 107,562 photovoltaic modules
  • 6 transformer stations (9 MVA)
  • Over 600 kilometers of cabling
  • 100 skilled professionals involved

From groundbreaking to commissioning, the entire process took less than a year. Within that time, we completed all construction, connection, and commissioning works. A key factor in this success was our excellent collaboration with the BeGreen team – a partnership built on trust, shared goals, and mutual respect.

“This was truly a joint effort,” says Kamil Perkowski, Project Manager at Electrum. “As EPC contractor, we were supported by BeGreen from day one. Adapting to local regulations and work culture was an exciting challenge. What really set this project apart was the openness to new ideas and the creative mindset that drove us toward our common goal.”

This is just the beginning of our activity in Denmark – and another strong example of how Polish engineering and project management expertise can meaningfully contribute to Europe’s energy transition.

“This first implementation in Denmark adds to the Electrum Group’s track record of over 4 GW,” says Ozgur Ozcan, Country Manager & CEO of Everto ApS (part of the Electrum Group). “The project not only marks a significant step in our renewable energy expansion but also contributes positively to the environment by reducing CO₂ emissions and promoting clean, sustainable energy. Furthermore, it supports the local community by creating jobs, strengthening regional infrastructure, and fostering long-term economic development aligned with Denmark’s climate goals.”

Ingerslev Å is more than a successful international collaboration – it’s a sign of what’s to come. We believe this is just the beginning of a new chapter for Electrum Group in Denmark and the Baltic region, where bold steps are being taken toward a sustainable future. We’re proud to be part of that transformation.
