Our activities
From energy infrastructure and renewable energy facilities to climate‑tech products and services, years of growth and expanding expertise have transformed Electrum into more than just a technology company—we have become a true architect of transformation: energy, social, and cultural.
Aware of our role and the influence we can have on the social fabric, we boldly embrace diverse—even unconventional—collaborations. We are convinced that only an out‑of‑the‑box approach—one that blends innovation, experience, sustainability, and creative thinking—can enable us to make the world a better place, both locally and globally.
From local initiatives…
A healthy mind in a healthy body
Life is not a sprint but a marathon, requiring long‑term planning, endurance, and patience. That’s why we want our employees—fully aware of their physical and mental well‑being—to go the distance with perseverance while also appreciating the beauty and complexity of the world we strive to protect. At Electrum, we take well‑being seriously, offering our employees and their families a comprehensive private healthcare program, supporting their passions, and encouraging shared workouts as well as mindful, non‑judgmental engagement with the world.
Running toward a better world
Every day, we consistently move toward an alternative energy system—and whenever the opportunity arises, we also reach the finish line in races of various distances. By actively promoting running and expanding our team year by year, Electrum has become a fixture in Białystok’s sporting calendar. For many years, we have taken part in the highly popular charity Ekiden run, where we served as the title sponsor. Our achievements also include the Siberian Memorial Run, “I Run for Independence,” the Białystok Half Marathon, and the Białystok Runs event.
A generator of talent
and positive energy
At Electrum, we recognize talented athletes and support them in advancing their careers. So far, we have sponsored the Electrum Sailing Team and collaborated with cross‑country skier Izabela Marcisz, a multiple world champion and runner‑up. We are especially proud to sponsor Paweł (an Electrum employee!) and Magdalena Miniuk—runners and marathoners who boldly compete on courses across Poland, Europe, and even worldwide.
Communication in harmony with the climate and community
We know that members of the Electrum family naturally choose environmentally friendly transport options whenever possible. Still, we actively promote zero-emission commuting and low-CO₂ options among our employees, such as carpooling. Reducing our carbon footprint is extremely important to us, and we ensure our corporate fleet reflects this commitment. Today, 95% of Electrum’s vehicles, including those used in the field and on projects, are hybrid-powered.
Green energy,
brick by brick
There is a child in all of us – that awareness allows us to add a touch of playfulness to everyday life. This spirit inspired projects like Electrum Eco Hive – a model built by Łukasz Więcek from over 50,000 LEGO® bricks. Electrum Eco Hive is a unique city where innovative urban planning and diverse climate and energy technologies coexist with the rhythm of everyday life. The initiative aims to educate about a future where clean, safe energy sources, used intelligently, form the foundation of our daily lives. Electrum Eco Hive can be seen in the Energy Laboratory at the Main Exhibition of the Epi-Centrum Nauki in Białystok.
Staying Up To Date
with ourselves and our surroundings
Operating across Poland and beyond, we never forget our roots. That’s why we actively support initiatives that, like us, originate from Podlasie. Collaborating with the Cultural and Social Emergency Association and the Don’t Worry Be Yourself Foundation allows us not only to engage with art and local communities but also to promote sustainable and ecological practices in new circles. Our cooperation includes the Electrum Up To Date Festival, as well as cultural and social initiatives such as Electrum Ambient Park, successive editions of the Ambient Salons, the “Don’t Worry Be Yourself” project promoting mental health, and the charitable Flying Ambient Salon.

… to global actions
Developing sustainable energy for the future
Together with leading research centers and enterprises from Poland and Europe, we have developed technological and business solutions as part of the DIEGO project, addressing high energy costs for consumers and low efficiency in energy use relative to production costs. The pioneering digital tools we created support planning, operation, and management of energy infrastructure—from small photovoltaic modules to large industrial parks—accelerating the transition to a low-emission economy. Learn more about DIEGO.
Seeking solutions for
efficient energy management
Together with 26 partners from eleven European countries, we participate in the aerOS project under the “Europe. Horizon of Possibilities” program. The result of our work will be the implementation of an operational metasystem that facilitates efficient energy asset management. For this purpose, we utilize our proprietary EMACS (SCADA) technology to monitor energy generation, storage, and consumption processes, as well as for business data analysis. Learn more about aerOS.
Actively supporting
the development of
green rural areas
Our work on the Polish-German RIGRID (Rural Intelligent Grid) project focused on sustainable development in rural areas, considering local community needs. This resulted in the creation of an optimal energy and infrastructure planning and management system and the implementation of Smart Grid technology in two communities. As a result, we achieved energy independence, increased supply reliability, reduced the carbon footprint, and, importantly, created new economic and social opportunities for residents of the project areas. We already know
a future is low-emission industry
We lead a consortium of research, academic, and industrial institutions from Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy in the MESH4U project. Its goal is to explore, develop, and test multifunctional energy storage nodes—electrical, thermal, mechanical, and chemical—to maximize benefits (not only financial) while addressing diverse needs and conditions. We believe a holistic approach to multifunctional energy storage nodes is key to transforming the economy toward low-emission solutions. Learn more about MESH4U.
