DIEGO Project
The DIEGO project aims to develop digital tools that support the planning, management, and optimization of energy infrastructure – from small photovoltaic installations to large industrial parks.
By leveraging innovative control algorithms and digital tools, the project contributes to increasing the efficiency and integration of renewable energy sources, minimizing energy losses, and reducing operational costs.

Project DIEGO promotes new business models that foster broader acceptance and application of renewable energy technologies, accelerating the transition towards a low-emission economy.
Electrum – project partner in Poland
As a project partner in Poland, Electrum is responsible for developing and testing innovative solutions in a real industrial environment. We design and implement a comprehensive ICT architecture that enables energy system management, energy consumption monitoring, and optimization of balancing in industrial facilities.
Pilot implementations, such as the Smart Grid demonstrator at the Alu-frost facility, allow the developed solutions to be used to increase power supply security and energy efficiency of enterprises.
Thanks to the DIEGO project, we contribute to creating sustainable energy infrastructure and developing the Net-Zero Energy concept in industry.
Co-funding information
The project is co-funded by the National Centre for Research and Development under the ERA-NET Smart Energy Systems Joint Call 2020 (MICall2020) on Digital Transformation for Green Energy Transition.
