Genowefa Solar Farm – 35 MW
Located in the heart of post-industrial, former mining areas, the Genowefa Solar Farm has a capacity of 35 MW. As the general contractor, the Electrum Group completed the investment in less than a year, installing over 65,000 photovoltaic panels, 410 km of DC cabling, and 20 km of AC cabling across approximately 40 hectares. The project also included the construction of a 46 km medium-voltage cable line connecting the farm to the GPO substation, and an 800-meter high-voltage line leading to the GPZ Kleczew station. Projects like this demonstrate how challenging post-industrial sites can be effectively repurposed.
