Potęgowo Wind Farm with a Capacity of 219 MW
The Potęgowo East Wind Farm, located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, is the first stage of the largest onshore wind power plant in Poland, with a total capacity of 219 MW. Electrum Group was responsible for the comprehensive design and implementation of the project in a turnkey model. Our scope of work included the construction, commissioning, and testing of the Bięciono GPO substation (110/30 kV), the design of a backup power supply from the Energa MV grid to the Bięciono GPO substation, and the installation of a 100 kV, 26 km cable line connecting the Bięciono GPO station to the SE Słupsk station using two fiber optic lines.
Our work at Potęgowo Wind Farm continues – since 2019, we have been providing comprehensive infrastructure maintenance services there, including 24/7 monitoring, scheduled maintenance, oil and hazardous materials management, and emergency response services.
The wind farm reduces CO₂ emissions by 514,000 tons per year, contributing to environmental protection on a large scale. Special attention was paid to the layout of wind turbines, taking into account local wildlife – avoiding bird migration routes, feeding areas, and nesting sites.
