The PV LION photovoltaic farm with a capacity of 165 MWp is being developed in Krzepielów, Lubusz Voivodeship, built for OX2 by Electrum as one of the largest photovoltaic investment projects in the country. Completion of works is scheduled for the end of 2026, and the farm will feed into the national energy grid in spring 2027, supporting Poland’s energy transformation and the development of large zero-emission power sources.

PV LION – a strategic RES project at the heart of the energy transition

Electrum is carrying out the construction of the PV LION photovoltaic farm in the village of Krzepielów (Sława Commune, Wschowa County, Lubusz Voivodeship). The company is responsible for design work, component supply, and the installation of the photovoltaic system, including grid connection to the Main Energy Receiving Point. The installation will have a capacity of 165 MWp and will become one of the largest PV farms commissioned in Poland. Once operational, the farm will produce renewable energy capable of powering fifty-one thousand households per year.

Modern technologies and key partners

As part of the project, approximately 258,000 photovoltaic panels will be installed on fixed-tilt mounting structures. Huawei inverters and transformers will be responsible for energy conversion and management. Bilfinger is serving as the Contract Engineer.

Significance of the investment

The PV LION photovoltaic farm is another large-scale project delivered by Electrum, strengthening the country’s green energy production capacity and supporting the development of zero-emission generation sources in Poland.
